Privacy and Data
Section titled “Privacy and Data”Cyclosonics is designed with privacy as a core principle. Here’s exactly what happens with your data.
What Stays On-Device
Section titled “What Stays On-Device”All BLE telemetry data is processed locally and never leaves your phone:
- Throttle position
- Motor RPM
- Battery voltage
- Torque
- Any other controller telemetry
This data is used in real time by the synthesis engine to drive sound generation. It is not stored, logged, or transmitted anywhere. When you close the app, the data is gone.
What We Collect (If You Create an Account)
Section titled “What We Collect (If You Create an Account)”If you choose to create an account to use the preset library:
- Email address — for authentication and account recovery
- Username — displayed on presets you share publicly
- Presets you save — stored on our servers (Supabase) so they sync across sessions
- Community presets — if you share a preset publicly, it’s visible to other users along with your username
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time.
Analytics
Section titled “Analytics”Our website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which:
- Does not use cookies
- Does not fingerprint users
- Does not track individuals
- Collects only aggregate, anonymized metrics (page views, referrers)
