Getting Started with Cyclosonics

Welcome to Cyclosonics — a throttle-driven audio synthesis app for electric vehicles. This guide will help you get set up and making sound in minutes.

Step 1: Install the App

Download Cyclosonics from the iOS App Store. (Coming soon — join the waitlist to be notified at launch.)

Step 2: Create an Account

Open the app and create an account with your email address. An account lets you save presets, access the community library, and sync your settings.

Step 3: Connect Your Controller

  1. With your bike turned on, navigate to the Setup page (gear icon in the footer)
  2. Select your controller from the list
  3. Tap ‘Connect’
  4. The app will connect and begin reading throttle data

Your controller’s Bluetooth must be powered on and in range. See the Controller Setup guide for detailed instructions.

Step 4: Load a Preset

  1. Go to the Presets page (default landing page)
  2. Browse Factory presets for curated starting points
  3. Tap any preset to load it
  4. The sound engine will configure itself automatically

Step 5: Start the Engine

  1. Tap the Ignition button in the bottom left
  2. The engine will start with a smooth fade-in
  3. Sweep the throttle slider, or twist your bike’s actual throttle
